A little about me… I have been working as a psychologist for the past 19 years in various environments such as school settings with children from pre-school age to college level, working individually and with their families. Some issues were with learning difficulties and poor concentration as well as depression and anxiety disorders. I have worked with people who have been experiencing issues related to both the Children’s Court and the Family Court. I have also worked within various hospital settings as well as providing therapeutic support for mothers suffering post-natal depression and other issues related to childbirth. At the same time I have maintained a small private practice. My qualifications started with the University of NSW where I completed a Bachelor of Health Administration, majoring in Behavioural Science, and a Doctor of Health Science (Psychology) at Deakin University. I also studied at the Australian National University gaining a Bachelor of Science (Psychology), a Masters Degree in Education (School Counselling) at the University of Canberra. I have a Diploma of Education and a Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis. There always seems room for learning in life’s journey. |
